It has a long tail which is a characteristic of a baby sardine and limbs on both sides which are characteristic of a sandworm. These two have been combined into a finer, 1.8 inch size.

The core of the body is thinner than the 2 inch Baby Sardine for finesse, but still thick enough to firmly insert a jig head. The arms and legs on both sides create an exquisite water current that releases Gulp! liquid into the water to attract fish. The limbs receive the water current and create pulling resistance, making it easier to lure lures more slowly than the 2 inch Baby Sardine. Gulp! is a highly effective, biodegradable soft bait made using a special process.

It is made from a water-based polymer material with Berkley's unique strong scent compound that has been proven to be popular with fish. Because Gulp! is water-soluble, it can release its scent compound 400 times faster than ordinary soft plastic baits that do not dissolve in water. It is a material with an extremely high ability to diffuse flavour and scent.
